Ms. Gellhouse has over 7 years of experience working in the IT field as a project manager, analyst, and software developer. She has experience working in both the private sector as a consultant and in the public sector for a government agency in both a technical and managerial capacity. She acquired her B.S. in computer science in 2002 and has worked on a number of projects to design, implement, modify, and maintain small-scale and medium-scale systems using a variety of current technologies. The projects generally include complex tasks within specific time frames and she has also been responsible for managing large projects and staff to ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget. She has extensive experience working with a variety of departments in the State of Alaska, including a number of projects for the Department of Transportation and the Department of Environmental Conservation. In addition, she has worked on projects in the private sector, for companies such as Alaska Public Broadcasting Inc. (APBI), the Alaska Electric, Light, & Power Company (AEL&P) and the McDowell Group.
